McArthurGlen Designer Outlet is located close to Vancouver International Airport and services a substantial number of local and international travellers. Kindred was engaged in the Phase 3A expansion of the centre in partnership with STRABAG Inc. to create 84,000 SF of additional retail space for brand-name stores. Construction activities were carefully planned to minimize disruptions to ongoing operations of the completed areas of the shopping centre. To meet the fixed completion deadline of the phase, extended shifts and double shifts were added, satisfying the owner's handover date for incoming tenants.
