Marketing Coordinator

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the development of marketing strategies in line with Kindred’s brand growth ambitions. This role is a part of a team of two, and will manage the implementation and ROI assessment of all marketing initiatives across our platforms, both internal and external.

This role is great for someone looking to gain broad experience in the marketing space while also having responsibility and autonomy. The Marketing Coordinator will manage email and other marketing campaigns, oversee the design and coordination of marketing campaigns & branded promotional materials, coordinate print production, coordinate tradeshows & events, track marketing budget, update content on corporate website, digital/social marketing, and gathering data for marketing analytics.

This is a full-time position that includes a hybrid work environment, competitive base salary, extended health and dental benefits, healthcare spending account, education allowance and paid vacation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support, plan & implement marketing strategies using all necessary tools (e.g. website, emails, social media and blogs) & channels (organic vs. paid)
  • Work with external agencies to develop content and manage platforms, where necessary
  • Analyze & measure ROI and KPIs by way of standard traffic metrics and suggest solutions to measurably improve online content/web presence
  • Monitor & report SEO/SEM/Paid Social efforts including marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends
  • Develop marketing automation and email marketing initiatives to manage client/partner relationships and grow our mailing list through one-off and ongoing campaigns.
  • Keep up-to-date with changing market dynamics and proactively suggest new campaigns
  • Coordinate internal and external photography, including execution of photos, maintaining photography equipment, communicating with all key stakeholders, editing photos and dissemination of content.
  • Liaise with Business Develop and Human Resources teams to optimize campaign deployment, client/partner/employee experience and brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technologies developments including monitoring competition

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Completed post secondary education in Marketing, Communications or other related field
  • Strong knowledge of optimizing web pages and social media accounts
  • Up to date knowledge of the changing world of social media & marketing
  • Ability to work independently with project-based guideline, manage time appropriately, and take initiative
  • Strong written and oral communication in English with focus on spelling and grammar
  • Strong technical writing and/or story telling abilities
  • Positive attitude in a fast-paced, changing environment

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 Annually
