Iain Sinclair is a professional cost engineer by education - he received his degree from London University - and became a registered professional quantity surveyor upon immigrating to Canada in 1990. He has been working in the construction industry for over 28 years, and brings a pragmatic, "real world" approach to getting projects designed and built. With his clients' project objectives always in mind, Iain focuses on value for money by keeping a close eye on quality control from pre-construction to closeout. He is an active professional, experienced in all aspects of project management on both privately and publicly funded projects, some of which have been in excess of $100 million.

Iain was hired by Kindred in 2003. His combined experience in facilities management, project management, value engineering, asset management, mortgage monitoring, risk management and contingency planning make him an indispensable member of the Kindred team. Iain has served as a representative of the Quantity Surveyors Society of BC on the Ministry of Health/Consultants Joint Committee as well as on the Mortgage Monitoring Development Committee. He has also acted as a national examiner for the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, and as an expert witness in numerous court cases. He is also a LEED® Accredited Professional with a commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible construction.
