The Whistler Seniors Housing development is a new 17,500 sq. ft. concrete and wood frame multi-family development designed and constructed for the Whistler Housing Authority. The development provides much-needed housing exclusively for mature Whistler residents. It is comprised of one bedroom, and one bedroom-plus-den units, it has an elevator, a parkade, and storage facilities. This project was completed on Design-Build basis in collaboration with Murdoch & Company Architecture & Planning, as well as BC Housing.

Located in the heart of downtown Squamish, The Main is a concrete and wood-frame development featuring 110 residential and 11 commercial rental units. The mixed-use development presents views of the Squamish river valley, including the famous Stawamus Chief Mountain, and offers amenities such as a shared patio space and playground.
The Main is a 5-storey, 141,000 sq. ft. concrete and wood frame mixed-use residential development located in downtown Squamish. It includes 110 residences, two levels of above-grade parking and ground floor commercial.

The building has two levels of underground parking accessed by a car elevator, ground floor commercial space, and five storeys of high-end condominiums ranging in size from 44 square meters to a penthouse unit at 302 square meters.
The complexity of this project and it’s location required a detailed pre-construction phase to plan a smooth start to construction. It is located on a very restrictive site and required continuous coordination with the City of Vancouver for access of trades and material deliveries. With budget parameters prescribed at the outset, Kindred worked with the developer to optimize their investment to achieve value for money all the while satisfying the requirement for a very high-end product.
