All of our clients—regardless of the size and scope of their
projects—are looking for the same basic things: value for money,
craftsmanship,
and a company they feel comfortable working with. We're sure you feel
the same way. At Kindred we address these concerns by fostering a team
environment based on collaboration, advocacy and accountability.
COLLABORATION
Our clients want to be involved with their projects, and we wouldn't
have it any other way. Working with you and your architects, designers
and consultants, we clearly define the goals of the project in terms of
budget, schedule and scope of work. At the same time we are creating a
collaborative, responsive project team capable of making timely
decisions and acting upon them.
ADVOCACY
Who will coordinate the team's efforts and ensure that everyone is
focused on your goals? We will. As your advocate, Kindred will adopt
your goals and make them the cornerstone of the project. We will ensure
that all consultants and trade contractors understand and abide by those
goals. We want to give you a finished product that meets all of your
needs.
ACCOUNTABILITY
While completing your project on time and on budget is important, this
is not our only goal. We feel the process of getting to that point is
also important, and to accomplish that requires accountability. We
believe you have every right to know how your money is being spent and
how your project is being managed. From the project's preliminary
planning stages, all the way through to the project's final sign-off, we
will keep you abreast of all your project's budget, schedule and related
developments.
These were our guiding principles in 1980 when Kindred was founded, and
they continue to form the foundation of our philosophy today. Our
non-adversarial approach to project management has gained us the trust
of both our clients, and professionals in the industry.
SAFETY
Kindred's emphasis on safe work sites further demonstrates our
commitment to maintaining the highest standards of project management.
Our focus on safety is reflected in every project that we manage, and is
proven by our exceptional safety record. Kindred has become one of the
first of 24 companies in B.C. to receive certification from the
Workmen's Compensation Board of B.C. (WCB)/Safety Network Certificate of
Recognition (COR) program.
INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT
Kindred is actively involved in a number of local associations. We abide
by their codes of ethics, and support their efforts in constantly
striving to improve the level of professionalism in the B.C.
